Plane tickets in your cart. Pinterest board titled "Euro Summer 2026" thriving. The itinerary is color-coded and your airport OOTD is basically locked in—but none of it moves without that visa stamped in your passport.

According to VFS Global, "Visa application volumes from the Philippines registered around 8% year-on-year rise in 2025," proof that Filipinos are back to exploring their favorite global destinations. Atul Lall, the Regional Head for North Asia, shared that traveler confidence has been restored and demand is expected to remain strong through 2026. In other words, more people are applying and appointment slots are getting competitive.

Most countries open visa applications as early as 180 days (six months) before departure. Call it Type A behavior all you want, but applying early is simply smart planning.

Below, we're breaking down exactly where you can lodge your visa applications within Metro Manila for some of the most popular destinations. Save this, send it to the GC, and schedule that appointment ASAP.

Here's Where The Visa Application Centers Are In Metro Manila

Australia

Location: 6th floor, Circuit Corporate Center Tower Two, AP. Reyes St. Brgy Carmona, Theater Drive Circuit, Makati City

Submitting your Aussie visa is basically a couch-approved activity—everything's online, except the part where you need to get your biometrics done. After submitting your application and receiving the request via email, you have to wait for the "Requirement to Provide Biometrics" letter from the Home Affairs department before booking that VFS appointment. You can't just swing by after clicking "submit" on the website! Once you've received it, you can visit the Australian Biometrics Collection Centre through VFS Global for a quick biometric check that comes with a P615 fee.

A visitor visa (subclass 600) costs AUD $200 (around P8,200) and grants stays of either three, six, or 12 months, giving you plenty of time to chase beaches and maybe a few koala selfies.

Canada

Location: 29th Floor, The World Center Building, 330 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave, Makati City

A single or multiple-entry temporary resident visa costs CAD $100 (around P4,220), with an additional $85 (around P3,590) biometric fee for fingerprints and photos. While the visa is applied for online, biometrics must be done in person at the Canada Visa Application Centre. Visits can last up to six months per trip, and the visa itself can be valid for up to 10 years, so you have plenty of excuses to keep coming back.

ICYDK, past Canadian visa holders from the last 10 years can skip most of the paperwork and apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) instead for just CAD $7 (around P300), often approved in minutes.

Japan

Locations:

  • Ground Floor, Circuit Corporate Center Tower Two, AP. Reyes St. Brgy Carmona, Theater Drive Circuit, Makati City

  • Level 3, Parqal Mall, Building 5, Diokno Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Parañaque City

  • Level 3 Gateway Tower Mall, Araneta City, Quezon City

A huge win: applying for a Japan visa comes with three options within the Metro, so you can choose the branch that works best with your schedule (and your traffic tolerance).

The temporary visitor single-entry visa for Philippine passport holders is gratis, a.k.a free of charge (love that for us), though a P520 service fee per application is collected for handling and logistics. Applications are submitted at these centers, not directly at the embassy, so booking an appointment online beforehand is non-negotiable. Slots fill up fast(!), especially before cherry blossom season and the year-end holidays.

Do note that Japan is reportedly eyeing a visa fee increase, with single-entry visas potentially jumping to ¥15,000 (around P5,625) and multiple-entry visas to ¥30,000 (around P11,250). This is reportedly set to roll out in April 2026.
