Fact: Love is a choice, and even the best relationships can sometimes have frustrating scenes like a Netflix romcom or a tear-inducing ballad. Celebs are not immune to the hardships and the ugly parts of romance—they’re only humans like us, after all.
Case in point: In an Instagram post, actress Sofia Andres got mushy about her own love life, and gave a solid advice to her followers. ICYDK, she and her partner Daniel Miranda have been together since 2015 and share a daughter together. She previously talked about wanting to marry her partner someday, albeit not being in a rush for it because, in her words: "love is different for everyone."
This time, she offered another insightful take on love—emphasizing the importance of trust and taking risks. “Love and respect are indeed earned, and it is important to remember that it goes both ways. When it comes to love and relationships, there are never guarantees or certainties, right? The future can be predictable, and people can change.”
She continued, “However, that doesn’t mean we have to see it as a gamble. Trusting someone with all your heart is a personal decision that only you can make. It involves taking a leap of faith, vulnerability, and the hope that the person you love will do the same for you.”

She ended her post by saying that love is a choice, and in the end, what’s important is the value of choosing someone who brings out the best version of you. “Being in love does come with the risk of getting hurt. It is a reality that no relationship is immune to challenges. Ultimately, you can decide if someone is your forever. It requires introspection, open communication, and listening to your intuition. Love should uplift and make you feel valued and respected.”
