Another day, another hair peg to bookmark! Heart Evangelista just debuted her brand-new hair color on IG Reels, and she looks stunning as ever. Check it out:
Many of her followers couldn't help but gush about her latest makeover—like us, they're also curious to know how she achieved her gorgeous dye job!
Luckily, hairstylist Bles Galvan of TONI&GUY Philippines shared with us the *deets* of Heart's new hair color. According to Bles, the actress wanted to try something new. She particularly wanted a "beige blonde" color. But of course, as most Pinays with colored hair would know, it would take multiple sessions for one to go from black to blonde.
"I knew it was going to be difficult, especially since her hair was jet-black," Bles tells Cosmopolitan Philippines. "I started by color-correcting her hair due to color build-up." The hairstylist gave Heart a purplish "mauve" base color. "The violet color softens one's appearance, providing a glowing effect even without makeup," she shared.
Later on, the hairstylist upgraded the actress' warm-toned base with beige blonde highlights, which made her complexion appear sun-kissed!
She explained, "For the actual hair color and highlights, I combined three techniques: microlights, placement, and balayage. These were able to help hide the darker pigments in her hair that were hard to neutralize." Bles also revealed that "it took four sessions in a month to achieve the color with multiple treatments to restore the integrity of her hair—and we did it! She super loved it!"
