I think we can all agree on the fact that pimples are one of the most annoying things ever. Especially if you have a very *~complex~* skincare routine and you're super dedicated to completing it day and night, and then suddenly, a pesky pimple appears! Like, where did you even come from? Why is my skin disrespecting me like this?!
Before you go on a rage-filled frenzy and start popping those pimples (I feel like I shouldn't have to say this already, but that's a big no-no!), say hello to your new best friend: anti-acne gels and creams.
These babies help in drying out pimples and killing the bacteria that causes inflammation and redness, usually overnight. Do note though, that they work best on pimples that are "ripe" or are already about to pop. For cystic acne (those large painful pimples whose heads never seem to pop up because they're actually underneath the skin!), however, your regular anti-acne skincare routine might not cut it. It's best to consult with a dermatologist to find the best products to treat them.
With that being said, keep on scrolling for the best acne gels and creams you can use to banish those pesky pimps!
