A woman named Jin-ah (Son Ye Jin), who's in her 30s, falls for a younger man (Jung Hae In) and they are forced to hide their relationship to avoid *controversy*. Joo Young plays the role of Lee Ye-eun, Jin-ah's colleague.

5. Baseball Girl (2019) 

According to Han Cinema, Joo Young plays the role of Joo Soo-in who used to be called a "genius" baseball player when she was in middle school, but she's not as great as she was now that she's in high school. She is desperate to become the first female baseball player to join a professional team.

6. Maggie (2019) 

Joo Young won Actress Of The Year for her role in Maggie at the 2018 Busan International Film Festival! In the movie, the discovery of X-ray photographs of a couple having sex causes trouble at a hospital. A nurse (Joo Young) suspects the photos might be of her and her boyfriend, and she's scared that she might lose her job because of it.

7. Itaewon Class (2020) 

The drama, which is based on a popular webtoon, tells the story of a group "misfits" who go against a big food conglomerate. Joo Young plays Hyun-yi, a chef at the Danbam restaurant who's transgender.
