Sad news coming through, Yuljems (ICYDK, it's our fandom name!)—our favorite medical drama, Hospital Playlist 2, will take a one-week hiatus.
Episode six will still air tonight, July 22. This means that we will get to know the new interns of Yulje Medical Center, be ~healed~ by the patients' stories, and witness more IkSong, WinterGarden, GomGom, and *hopefully*, Bidulgi scenes. However, episode seven, which is set to air on July 29, will be rescheduled for August 5 instead.
According to Soompi, the team behind the K-drama has decided to have a break due to filming delays brought by the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea. At the same time, they wanted to refrain from sacrificing the script's quality. Although it's sad, let's have faith in Shin Won Ho PD, Lee Woo Jung writernim, and the entire production staff, you guys!
Don't you worry, though, because they have prepared a special episode for us to look forward to next week! It will show the behind-the-scenes clips of the cast, the actor's commentaries, and fun stories about the band. *wipes happy tears*
This is not the first time that a K-drama has to be rescheduled. Another tVN series that postponed an episode earlier this year is Vincenzo, and the reason was to improve the show's quality.
