Our current fave K-drama It's Okay To Not Be Okay tells the story of a selfless health worker named Gang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) and a children's storybook writer with an antisocial personality disorder named Mun Young (Seo Ye Ji). Gang Tae lives with his older brother Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se) who has autism spectrum disorder or ASD.
Since its first episode aired in June, we have located Mun Young's cursed castle, found the meaning behind Seo Ye Ji's red shoes, and gushed over Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji's previous pudding commercial!
The drama, which is available for streaming on Netflix, has made us cry so many times already, and most of them are because of Gang Tae and Sang Tae's relationship! Some of our most-loved moments also happened because of Mun Young's storybooks, which are actually *original fairy tales*.
Good news: Korean publishing company Wisdom House has released official versions of the books and you can buy them online or through Korean specialty shops in the PH! There are also doll merchandise available—replicas of Mang Tae the doll and Sang Tae's dino keychain.
