The Kissing Booth 2, which hit Netflix on July 24, continues the story of Elle Evans (Joey King) as she heads back to school for her senior year with her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) away for college—in Harvard.
Last year, during filming, fans were totally convinced that Jacob "looked miserable" and that his voice "sounded sad" in a teaser for the movie. After all, when they filmed The Kissing Booth 2, former couple Jacob and Elle had already broken up IRL and people *hypothesized* that he seemed down and awkward because of this.
In an online interview with Access Hollywood, Jacob set the record straight: "No, no, I have a resting miserable face! People always think I look...you know what it is? It's because I'm usually thinking a lot about...an insane amount...about something ridiculous...I think that is what happens."
Jacob took this opportunity to remind us of his character Noah's personality: "And then also, people, please. He's like a moody dude, you know? He's like a moody guy. He's not running around [smiling]. No, I wasn't miserable, I was tired [but not miserable]. I had a blast!" He added that it was super great reuniting with the cast for the sequel and that "we'd all grown up so much."
Good to know! And we hope he's happy with his rumored GF and Euphoria co-star Zendaya now. *wink wink*
