Kyline Alcantara Says She's Not Looking For Any More Romance ATM, And We Get Her

All hugs to our very independent girl, Kyline Alcantara, who just revealed that she's still single—and wants to keep it that way for now. On May 22, she sat down for an interview with GMA Network alongside her fellow Taskforce Firewall stars Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, and Cheska Fausto. And when host Nelson Canlas asked for a love life update, Kyline quickly confirmed that she's loving her singleness.

"I'm self-improving pa," Kyline shared. In a cute, joking manner, she also admitted that she's not ready to mingle anytime soon. "'Wag muna, Lord," she added.

TBH, she's just like us certified lover girls who would rather wait for the right person than rush into something just because everyone expects you to be in love all the time. But what makes Kyline extra relatable is how honest she is about how deeply she loves. "And when I love, I really love a person 'cause I feel like I have too much love to give." The girl is down bad when she falls! 🤭

Right now, though, she's fully embracing her self-love era first before entering another lover girl chapter.  "I'm still young. Actually, it's a paradox nga whenever I say, I'm still young. I'm still young, so dapat I can experience a lot of things."

In a world where people are constantly pressured to find The One ASAP, it's refreshing to hear someone say they're okay with figuring life out first. "I'm allowed to fail still, and I'm allowing myself to make more mistakes, but at the same time, I'm still young. I shouldn't hurry," Kyline shared.

Of course, fans are also aware of her very public heartbreak back in April 2025. So when she was asked if she's still open to dating celebrities, Kyline admitted she's unsure for now, but isn't completely closing the door either.

"Honestly, hindi ko po alam. Depende kung sino ang ibibigay ng ating Panginoong Diyos,” she said.

But after everything she's been through, Kyline also revealed that she wants to approach future relationships differently. "I know that we're public figures, but we're not public properties. Kung may mangyari man in the near future sa aking love life, siguro pang sa akin lang muna po iyon. Hindi ko na siya ipa-publicize that much."

Kyline's first public relationship was with Sparkle GMA artist Mavy Legaspi back in 2021. The two began as an on-screen loveteam before eventually confirming their relationship. But after a few years together, they officially broke up in November 2023.

Then, in May 2024, Kyline was linked to basketball player Kobe Paras after fans noticed him leaving a heart-eyes emoji on one of her Instagram posts and reposting it to his story. The two were spotted together several times before Kobe finally confirmed their relationship in November that same year.

Kobe also became Kyline's first hard-launched boyfriend, and from the outside, everything looked smooth-sailing. Fans even loved seeing their families interact online. But by April 2025, people quickly noticed that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Which, IYKYK, is basically celebrity breakup language at this point.

Things became even messier after cheating allegations started circulating online. Kobe's mom, Jackie Forster, eventually confirmed the breakup through a lengthy video while defending her son.

Messy breakup aside, what fans are seeing now is a Kyline who feels more grounded, more self-aware, and way more protective of her peace.
