It looks like K-pop girl group TWICE will continue their Twicelights world tour without Mina.

In an official statement released by JYP Entertainment on July 11, the talent agency announced that Mina has pulled out of the group’s world tour citing mental health concerns.

The statement reads, “Mina is currently struggling with sudden extreme anxiety and insecurity toward performing on stage. No exact diagnosis has been identified yet, [but] we are consulting with several medical professionals to verify the cause in detail.”

“[The] health of our artists is our top priority and [the] most important thing. Thus, we will do everything to provide [the] proper and best medical treatment and sufficient rest for Mina’s recovery,” JYP Entertainment concluded.

TWICE came to Manila in June 2019 where they performed at the Mall of Asia Arena. The nine-member K-pop group is halfway through its world tour, with several more performances scheduled in Singapore, the United States, Mexico, and Kuala Lumpur.
