Nadine Lustre is calling it. She's sure of one thing about her relationship with Christophe Bariou: He's going to be her last love—and that's not something she said just in passing. It's something she's definite and bold about.

In an interview with Karen Davila, the actress swore that she doesn't see herself with anyone else anymore except for her current beau, Chris. The couple has been dating for about five years now.

When Karen mentioned if she's ever open to falling in love with a co-star, she immediately shut down the idea. "Alam mo naman na 'yan. Nangyari na, 'wag na nating ulitin," Nadine told Karen while laughing.

"I'm very happy with where I'm at. Ito talaga, taga niyo sa bato, if Chris and I break up pa, ayoko na mag-jowa. Pagod na ako. No, but really, I told myself that. Parang, sabi ko, if this is not the last relationship that I will have, I'm probably gonna be single for the rest of my life."

Nadine was firm on her statement. She expressed how content she is with her relationship. According to her, she's never been more aligned with anyone than she is with Chris.

Nadine noted, "I think it's hard to find someone like Chris—same mindset, same values and someone who's very caring for everything that's around him. Mahirap humanap ng taong makaka-[sundo] ko with everything. Parang in sync kami with everything,"

For Nadine, it's one of the most important things not just in a relationship, but also in life. To find someone that connects with you on deeper level.

Nadine Lustre and Christophe Bariou's romance

Nadine and Chris first met in 2021 throught mutual friends. Nadine once shared that Chris didn't actually know that she was an actress in the Philipines. They naturally just connected with everything.

"When I got back from Siargao, after that trip, he flew [to Manila] and that's when we really started hanging out," she said. "We just never stopped talking and I think that's one of the things that I love about our dynamic. We always have something to talk about. It's funny how in sync we are. We like the same things. [We're like] two peas in a pod," she said in a 2022 interview.

With their relationship going strong, the public has been expecting them to get hitched sooner rather than later. But in recent interviews, Nadine shared that they're not finalizing anything just yet—though she's certain marriage is somewhere on the horizon.

After all, the actress has been candid about where her priorities currently lie: her career and the many passion projects she's working on. In a 2023 interview with PEP, Nadine candidly said, "I'm not yet ready. I mean, we still have a lot of things that we want to do. We're not thinking about it yet."

"If that's gonna happen, it will happen," she added.

Aside from being romantic partners, Nadine and Chris are also business partners, having launched their coconut milk brand, Dehusk.

At the moment, Nadine is filming for her newest TV series, Love, Siargao together with Alden Richards, Kyline Alcantara, Coleen Garcia, and more. It will be streaming on Viu starting June 26, 2026.
