Our new favorite leading lady Seo Ye Ji has been part of the showbiz industry for roughly seven years now. Her first-ever TV show was Potato Star 2013QR3, a sitcom, where she starred next to Go Kyung Pyo, Yeo Jin Goo, and many others. So far, Seo Ye Ji has appeared in roughly 19 Korean dramas and movies, and we're so proud that she's finally getting the *international* recognition she deserves!

1. Diary Of A Night Watchman (2014)
Jung Il Woo stars as Prince Wal Gang, "a watchman by night and a prince by day" in this fantasy-sageuk drama. According to Netflix, he has the ability to see spirits and gets involved in a power struggle to control the throne. Ye Ji's character is named Soo Ryeon, a noblewoman who is set on becoming the crown prince's bride. She definitely gives off Mun Yeong vibes from It's Okay To Not Be Okay in this one.

2. Moorim School: Saga Of The Brave (2015)
This is no ~ordinary~ institution! At the mysterious Moorim School, students don't focus on grades. A K-pop idol (Lee Hyun Woo) and the heir to a Chinese conglomerate (Lee Hong Bin) find themselves at Moorim and they soon become roommates + rivals. They also develop feelings for Seo Ye Ji's character Soon Deok. According to Soompi, Soon Deok has a sharp tongue and she isn't afraid to "put people who disrespect her in their place."

3. Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016)
This star-studded drama revolves around a group of "hwarang"—flowering knights or warriors with looks that rival the beauty of flowers—and their adventures. Seo Ye Ji played the role of Princess Sook Myung, and she even had a kissing scene with Park Seo Joon!

4. Another Miss Oh (2016)
Two very different women (Seo Hyun Jin and Jeon Hye Bin) who are both named Oh Hae Young cross paths and various mix-ups occur around them. Seo Ye Ji made a special guest appearance in the latter part of the show. We see her as Seo Hee, a woman who's getting married. You can watch her adorbs scene as a bride in the clip below.

5. Save Me (2017)
According to the show's Netflix description, "four young men come to the rescue of a former classmate whose family has been sucked into the clutches of a religious cult and its charismatic leader" in this suspense thriller. The "classmate" in question is named Sang Mi, a role played by Seo Ye Ji.

6. The Bros (2017)
Okay, so The Bros isn't a drama. According to the Korean Film Council, this movie tells the story of two brothers who reunite at their father's funeral. They soon discover secrets about their family through a mysterious lady who goes by the name Aurora. Seo Ye Ji played a supporting character named Sa Ra.

7. Lawless Lawyer (2018)
In this drama, Seo Ye Ji stars as Ha Jae Yi, a confident and reckless lawyer who does everything she can to take down "evil forces." Meanwhile, Lee Joon Gi's character is a gangster-turned-lawyer called Bong Sang Pil, who starts a law firm and aims to solve his mother's murder. Soompi reports that after her stint in the series Lawless Lawyer, Ye Ji was awarded the rank of honorary constable and received a letter of appointment in December 2018.

8. It's Okay To Not Be Okay (2020)
Ye Ji's character Mun Yeong is a fashionable children's storybook writer with a *dark* past! She's fascinated by knives, lives in a *cursed castle*, and has an antisocial personality disorder. She determinedly pursues Gang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun), a health worker who is devoted to his older brother Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se), who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
