It's a pretty big week for films: To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You drops today, and South Korean film Parasite by Bong Joon Ho just became the first non-English and Asian film to win the Oscar (four in one night!). The two films couldn't be more different, but they share quite an odd connection, and it's one you'd never expect. To All The Boys I've Loved Before author Jenny Han (who is Korean-American) was celebrating the Parasite win—as seen in her retweets—when she decided to share an anecdote from when she was in South Korea filming for the third film, Always And Forever, Lara Jean, and it revealed an unexpected link between the two: It turns out one of the production assistants for the upcoming Netflix film is related to South Korean director Bong Joon Ho.
