Well, Google's Year In Search 2020 is here and it listed down the Top-Searched Female Personalities us Filipinos were curious to know about this year. Rounding up the Top 10 is a mix of young Pinay stars, Korean actresses, and even a…European K-pop group?

Yup, go figure. Anyway, here are the 10 Top-Searched Female Personalities in the Philippines in 2020:

1. Issa Pressman

What made her relevant this year? In January, James Reid and Nadine Lustre's breakup was made public. Even though they released a joint statement saying that there was no third party involved whatsoever, the internet attacked their good friend Issa Pressman and accused her of being James' new flame. When the issue blew up, both James and Nadine cleared Issa's name for getting dragged into their breakup.

2. Sofia Andres

What made her relevant this year? Sofia Andres had been noticeably absent from showbiz in 2019 when she relocated to Sydney, Australia for most of the year. Little did the public know that she and her boyfriend Daniel Miranda were expecting a child. Sofia introduced their baby girl, Zoe, to the world in June and recently celebrated her first birthday.

3. Ivana Alawi

What made her relevant this year? If there's one YouTube celebrity that's blown up in 2020, it's none other than Ivana Alawi. She's got three top trending videos on YouTube this year and reached a whopping 10 million subscribers in only 14 months.

4. Vanessa Bryant

What made her relevant this year? The world mourned the tragic loss of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his teen daughter Gigi in January. Kobe's wife, Vanessa Bryant, is raising their remaining three daughtersNatalia, Bianka, and Capriand is doing a damn great job doing so.

5. Janine Berdin

What made her relevant this year? Singer Janine Berdin made headlines in October when pictures of her ~new look~ circulated online. She went on Gandang Gabi Vice and admitted to undergoing a beauty enhancement procedure for her nose which cost a total of P100,000.  

6. Kamala Harris

What made her relevant this year? In November, Kamala Harris made history as the first woman to be elected as the Vice President of the United States. Yup, she did that. #SmashThePatriarchy

7. Seo Ye Ji

What made her relevant this year? 2020 is definitely Seo Ye Ji's breakout year. She starred in the top-rating drama It's Okay To Not Be Okay alongside Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se, and played the role of Ko Mun Yeong, a famed children's book author with a personality disorder.

8. Rabiya Mateo

What made her relevant this year? In October, Filipino-Indian beauty queen Rabiya Mateo was crowned as the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines. Hailing from Iloilo, Rabiya is a licensed physical therapist and graduated cum laude from the Iloilo Doctor's College in 2018.

What made them relevant this year? Ever think a K-pop group could exist OUTSIDE of Korea? Well, there's Kaachi. The four-piece girl group is the first-ever European girl group and…people have a lot of things to say about them.

What made her relevant this year? It took Kim Go Eun four long years to make her K-drama comeback and it was in the form of the big-budget fantasy series, The King: Eternal Monarch, co-starring Lee Min Ho. But the wait was worth it 'cause The King was named Netflix PH's most popular drama this year.
