K-Drama 'Vagabond' Featured Two Distinctly Pinoy Items: Pandesal + Gin

Gin + pandesal = gindesal!

We never thought we'd see our fave breakfast pandesal and the iconic tito alcoholic drink "gin bilog" together in one meal! Netflix K-drama Vagabond has Filipino fans *giggling* because they spotted these two very Pinoy items in Episode 7 of the show. 

In Vagabond, we see Bae Suzy's character Go Hae Ri sitting at a computer desk that's cluttered with various photos, a paper cup, headphones, and the VERY UNLIKELY combination that is pandesal and gin.

"Gindesal (gin + pandesal): Pampagising ba yan o pampatulog?" One Twitter user askedAnother joked"At least may cameo na yung Philippines sa Vagabond. Nakaka-proud! Salamat sa gin at pandesal." 

Some have theories: Maybe the director of Vagabond took a trip to the Philippines, encountered the very infamous (and affordable) gin, and decided to include it in the scene!

Vagabond tells the story of a stuntman (Lee Seung Gi) who investigates a mysterious plane crash that causes the death of his young nephew. During his personal ~mission~, he encounters secret service agent (Suzy) in Morroco, who's investigating the crash as well! Watch the trailer here:
