Upcoming Netflix K-Dramas
Tantara
Cast: Song Hye Kyo, Gong Yoo
You read that right. Two powerhouse South Korean actors are gearing up for a period drama! Not only are the two working on this, but also acclaimed It's Okay, That's Love writer Noh Hee Young and Coffee Prince director Lee Joon-young are in this much-awaited show.
Tantara is set in South Korea between the 1960s and 1980s, offering a glimpse into the harsh and highly competitive entertainment industry of the time. Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo star as Min-ja and Dong-gu, respectively. They are childhood best friends involved in the music industry at the time. As they navigate the industry, the series follows their journey through the highs and lows of chasing success and turning aspiring performers into mega stars.
The release date is already set for December 11, 2026—so mark your calendars!

Grand Galaxy Hotel
Cast: Lee Do Hyun, Shin Si Ah
Did you miss Lee Do Hyun? (Because we did!) He's coming back with a new mystert romantasy K-drama called Grand Galaxy Hotel—and rumor has it, it's in the same universe as Hotel Del Luna.
Grand Galaxy Hotel might just tug at our heartstrings. The series revolves around a hotel that opens only in the middle of the night, where the souls of the dead find comfort before moving on. The hotel is owned by Eun Ha (Lee Do Hyun), who meets its human manager (Shin Si Ah), a woman with a knack for befriending ghosts. And joining the cast as a grim reaper is Lee Soo Hyuk. (A sexy grim reaper? We're listening.)
Together, those three characters will be problem-solving for ghosts soon at the Grand Galaxy Hotel! No release date has been set yet for the show but is reportedly slated in 2027.

She, Wolf
Cast: Kim Min Ju, Lomon, Moon Sangmin
Not much information has been shared about this just yet, but we're already thinking that it's a romantasy one given its title! There's also a secret about the lead character being a werewolf. What we're sure of is that this will be the first time that the three up-and-coming actors will be working together! IZ*ONE's former member Kim Min Ju continues to make her mark as an actress, and has landed one of the lead roles for this youth-centered K-drama.
Moon Sangmin has also had a steady pace in his acting career with several buzzworthy dramas like Under the Queen's Umbrella and Wedding Impossible.
Meanwhile, this is also Lomon's second K-drama to watch, airing on Netflix!
She, Wolf is tentatively expected to air in 2027.
All of Us Are Dead 2
Cast: Park Ji Hu, Yoon Chan Young, Cho Yi Hyun, Lomon
Speaking of Lomon, another one of his dramas is making a comeback to the streaming giant. The second season of All of Us Are Dead is FINALLY coming!
After four grueling years of waiting, Netflix has officially announced its return, since the first season aired in 2022. We're all waiting to see how the gang's living—is there a hybrid zombie? Who's actually still alive... or half-alive? SO excited for this!
Although there's still no set release date at the moment, we're holding on to the fact that it was part of the anniversary event and that the rumor mill's talking about an early 2027 release date!
Solo Leveling
Cast: Byeon Woo Seok, Han So Hee, Kang You Seok, Rain, Lee Sungmin
Last but not least, Solo Leveling has been confirmed for a Netflix release during the anniversary event! The live-action adaptation of the hit webtoon and anime will be led by Byeon Woo Seok. He will be accompanied by a solid cast lineup with Han So Hee, Kang You Seok, Rain (!), and Lee Sungmin.
Byeon Woo Seok will play Sung Jin Woo, who was once an E-rank hunter, a.k.a. the weakest level of hunter. At the beginning, he was even called the weakest hunter of all mankind. But after a series of unfortunate and action-packed events, Jinwoo acquires a so-called "second awakening/reawakening," with the help of a system only he can access. Through that system, he can jump into various dimensions to defeat different kinds of monsters and improve his hunter rank... alone.
Well, not entirely alone, as he will meet certain friends... and possibly a love interest along the way! Filming is currently ongoing for this, and there is no rumored release date just yet. Though Netflix says it's coming soon. ;)
