During the 2020 Oscars, not to exaggerate but the whole world was rooting for Parasite. Here at the Cosmo HQ, we freaked out when the entire cast walked the red carpet looking like absolute fire. But even more so when the exceptional film won Best Original Screenplay, Best International Feature Film, Best Director, AND Best Picture.
Arguably one of the most memorable scenes in the movie (at least for foodies) has got to be when they made jjapaguri. Also known as Ram-don, it's actually made of two types of instant noodles: Chapagetti and Neoguri. And as you may know by now, steak was added to the dish. But why?
Director Bong Joon Ho told the LA Times, "This is something kids like, regardless of the rich or the poor. But the rich wife couldn't stand her kid to eat this cheap noodle so she adds sirloin topping."
