I don't know one person who bursts with joy whenever she spots a pimple on her face. I also hate it when I see a zit. After everything I've done for my skin—the consistent skincare routine, regular facials, and other good beauty habits—it still chooses to ~betray~ me. But slowly, I'm coming to peace with pimples. They're inevitable; I get it. Also, it is true that having a zit is completely normal. I don't need to let it ruin my day.
To help us get through this *difficult* stage (cue dramatic music, LOL), may I suggest that we create a pimple care kit that we can turn to every time we have a zit emergency? These are the makeup and skincare items we'll include inside the kit:
A toner is essential to lifting leftover dirt your facial wash may have missed. It refines the pores and leaves the skin feeling fresh. It also balances the skin’s pH after washing the face, therefore strengthening the skin barrier. A healthy skin barrier = fewer breakouts.
