Kim Soo Hyun's big K-drama comeback is a huge deal not only to his fans but his industry friends as well. The 32-year-old actor hasn't starred in a drama since 2015's The Producers, so the excitement over It's Okay To Not Be Okay is absolutely understandable. We know that those in the Hallyu world send each other food and beverage trucks to show support for ongoing projects, and that's exactly what Soo Hyun's ~showbiz~ friends did for him! The lead actors of the film Dream—Park Seo Joon, IU, and Lee Hyun Woo—sent both food and coffee trucks on the set of It's Okay To Not Be Okay. "To all the cast and crew, please enjoy this and keep up the good work," the coffee truck's banner reads. (via Soompi)
It also seems that the Dream cast returned the gesture to Soo Hyun 'cause, he too, sent a food truck to their movie set last month. Cute!
Wondering how the three Dream leads are connected to Soo Hyun? Well, PSJ and Soo Hyun were former agency-mates in KeyEast Entertainment; IU and Soo Hyun go way back when they co-starred in 2011's Dream High; and Hyun Woo and Soo Hyun became close while filming Secretly Greatly in 2013.
ICYDK, Dream tells the story of team coach Yoon Hong Dae, a professional soccer player on disciplinary probation. According to Soompi, IU plays Lee So Min, "a producing director who dreams of finding success through a documentary about Hong Dae's team." The film is set to be released in 2021.
Two episodes of Soo Hyun's ~gothic horror and fantasy~ drama were released last weekend with top ratings! He headlines the Netflix drama as the quiet and hardworking caregiver Moon Gang Tae, and stars alongside Seo Ye Ji and Oh Jung Se.
New episodes of It's Okay To Not Be Okay are available on Netflix every Saturday and Sunday night at 9:30 p.m.
