Gerald Anderson Is In His Single Era—And He Says It's For The Better

Published on May 15, 2026
Gerald Anderson is embracing his singleness, and according to the actor, it's a conscious decision he made to focus on becoming a better version of himself.
In a recent episode of Jeepney TV's "Stars on Stars," Gerald sat down with his Blood Vs. Duty co-star Baron Geisler, where he opened up about why he's choosing to stay single for now.
"That's the reason why I'm single now—because I want to become a better partner, a better person, a better son, a better brother, a better provider. Magagawa ko yan if I focus on myself muna," he said.

A Look Back At Gerald Anderson's Career
From being introduced to the public as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 1 back in 2006, Gerald has continued finding new ways to evolve in his career beyond acting.
In 2025, he officially stepped into producing for the first time through the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Rekonek," where he also starred. At the time, Gerald shared that being involved behind the scenes felt like a new challenge he genuinely enjoyed taking on, especially as someone constantly looking for growth and fresh experiences in the industry.
That same year, he also explored directing for the first time through the crime-thriller series Sins of the Father, which he co-directed alongside FM Reyes, Bjoy Balagtas, and Avel Sunpongco.
But outside showbiz, Gerald has also built a name for himself as a businessman over the years. He currently manages Th3rdFloor gym, the fitness business he first started in 2019 after converting part of his home into a private training space for celebrities and exclusive members. What began as a small third-floor gym eventually expanded into a second branch, The Th3rd Floor Park, both located in Quezon City.
Over the years, Gerald also ventured into hospitality and wellness spaces through his private resorts in Zambales. In 2020, he launched Hayati Private Resort, a beachside property with a variety of wellness-focused amenities, including a basketball court, pool area, billiards, and covered gym facilities. And earlier this year, he also opened Trivera River Resort, which offers a more nature-centered escape with mountain views and riverside scenery.
"I'm building the life I want in five years," Gerald explained. "I want to be the best version…so I have to start now."
