As if GOT7's November 2019 comeback wasn't enough, Ahgases have even more to fangirl over because Jinyoung is returning to the small screen this year! The K-pop idol isn't new to the K-drama scene—he's successfully balanced his acting career even while being the lead vocalist of GOT7. Jinyoung's most recent drama was in 2019's He Is Psychometric where he starred in the breakthrough role of Lee Ahn, a young man who receives ~psychometric~ powers after a traumatic childhood event.
Well, the Jinyoung drama drought is over because he was just cast in the new drama The Most Beautiful Moment In Life. Soompi describes the drama as such:
"The drama is about a woman named Yoon Ji Soo who reunites with her first love Han Jae Hyun when they are in their 40s. Lee Bo Young and Yoo Ji Tae are set to play the middle-aged Yoon Ji Soo and Han Jae Hyun of present day, while Jeon So Nee and GOT7's Jinyoung are playing the characters' younger counterparts from the '90s."
So it's safe to say that we'll be expecting more kilig Jinyoung scenes set in the '90s!
The Most Beautiful Moment In Life will be premiering on tvN in April 2020.
