Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson's romance has only been public knowledge for a few days, but it's already been a whirlwind. Since then, Miley went on a pretty epic rant about her dating life (direct quote: "Get used to me dating—this is where I'm at!"), the world got a video of them kissing, and I gave them the couple name Mody (genius, I know).
But despite reports that Miley and Cody have "no plans to start dating each other exclusively," and "they both just want to have fun," it looks like these two are already close enough to call each other pet names. And yes, I'm referring to the Instagram that Cody posted yesterday of him kissing Miley's forehead, with the caption "Pre swim breakfast courtesy of baby":
Afterward Miley, probably knowing that the general public was going to combust once they saw Cody's kissing Insta, posted a photo of herself and captioned it, "BABY":
And then she trolled everyone—including Cody—by posted literal baby pictures:
And a selfie with the caption, "ship already":
On one hand, the fact that Miley and Cody have pet names for each other is pretty telling, but on the other, it really does seem like Miley isn't looking for a long-term relationship atm. Not only did she separate from her husband Liam Hemsworth only a few months ago, but she also reportedly broke up with Kaitlynn Carter because she "doesn’t want a serious relationship" and "wants to focus on her career."
So I guess all we can do for now is keep an eye on Miley's Insta to see how this relationship develops!
