After airing its last episode in August, we can’t help but feel major separation anxiety. To reminisce this one-of-a-kind K-drama, below is a list of bakeshops where you can get It’s Okay To Not Be Okay-themed treats (which are too appealing to eat).
1. Wadough's
The Moon brothers will surely love this adorable cake inspired by their ~brother~, Mangtae (that’s totally edible here!). You’re in for a treat in this layered red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate cake for P2,300. The bakeshop says in their social media account to bake love, not war. We’re looking at you, Sangtae oppa and Mun Yeong.
2. The Little Whisk
If you’re a cookie lover like us, go for these pretty custom-decorated cookies, priced at P1,000 for a dozen, which will make you think if you should take a bite, or have it framed on your wall. And just like us, the owner, Maggie, also loves the K-drama.
3. Betsubara MNL
Here’s another cute customizable treat in the form of cupcakes for only P65 per piece, available for a box of 6 or 12. The dessert shop’s name is the Japanese translation for “there’s always room for dessert”. And yes, that’s another reminder for you.
4. La Bella Cakes and Cupcakes
Every cake is painstakingly baked and designed, just like this recreated treat that reminds us of the Moon-Moon couple’s childhood romance. Order this storybook-inspired cake for P1,000, and go make a wish on your birthday (like finding your own Gangtae).
5. Cakes by Alyanna
We bet you won’t count to three because you can’t wait but take a slice of this minimalist cake that costs P1,800. In case you don’t know, this is an iconic scene where Gangtae taught Mun Yeong how to control herself by counting to three.
5. Cakesphere
Just look at the details of this little Gangtae and Mun Yeong cake! The storybook characters by concept artist Jamsan inspired this edible treat, and we promise—for P2,000 anyone will be delighted to have this on the table.
