A bakeshop based in Parañaque called Polene's Cake Mail caught our eye when they posted photos of a Reply 1988-inspired cake which was ordered by an avid fan! It recreated the famous Ssangmun-dong block and had a Tagalog quote that reads: "Sa mundong walang katiyakan, sabay nating gawing kahapon ang bukas." Sobrang cute!

The photo's caption also included one of the most heartwarming quotes from the show: "A time so warm and pure, that's why we miss that time so badly."

In a short Messenger convo with Cosmo.ph, the cake's creator Ciara Polene R. Beltran shared: "When I got the order, I told myself I didn't want to accept any more cakes for that day because I wanted to make sure that I got it right. Come design day, I had to sketch it multiple times and even asked my sister for help with perspective drawing. I think it took me about three hours to finish the cake. I haven't seen the show but when I was searching for pegs on Pinterest I saw some pretty interesting lines from the drama that made me want to watch it."
