Almost everyone has fallen in love with Pinay skateboarder Margielyn Didal. ICYMI, the 22-year-old athlete represented the Philippines and ranked seventh place in the finals of the Women's Street Skateboarding event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her positive attitude and great sportsmanship captured the hearts of many, and we honestly can't wait to see more of this girl in the future. 

One of the things you probably didn't know about Margielyn is that she's a strong advocate for building skate parks in the country. According to an article published by Inquirer.net, she "hoped that through the Olympic exposure, skateboarding will become more mainstream and not a sport shrouded under a negative reputation." She shared that she wants to "spread the good vibes" with dreams of having people look at skateboarding from a different perspective.
