Dancing queen Minzy is back and she's on ~fire~! The K-pop star just released the music video for her song "Teamo" this week—and while we were busy swaying our hips to its addictive beat, we're also clapping our hands because a member of the dance group, G-Force, actually did the choreography for this track!
There's no denying that Minzy has proved her dancing skills once again in her latest single and behind the powerful steps and routines is G-Force's Gelai Aguzar. Minzy confirmed this during an Instagram Live. If Gelai sounds familiar to you, that's because she's also part of the team that choreographed Sarah Geronimo's hit song, "Tala"!
To express her ~feelings~ about this milestone, Gelai posted a reaction video on her YouTube channel and she can't help but be teary-eyed: "Parang lumulutang ako sa langit. Ang sarap ng feeling, ang saya." She also thanked Minzy for the opportunity. as well as G-Force, Teacher Georcelle, and Maika, who assisted her in this collab. We're so proud of you, Gelai!
The MV has now reached more than 700,000 YouTube views as of writing and the comments section is full of praises. A netizen said: "We cannot deny the fact that Minzy is one of the most talented idols in the Kpop Industry," and we couldn't agree more! She can sing, she can dance—and if that's not enough, our girl just launched her own entertainment-agency-slash-dance school!
Prior to her comeback, Minzy made her Philippine debut last year under Viva Records, where she released a Filipino version of her song, “Lovely.”
And ICYMI, she also performed her track "Ninano" and 2NE1's iconic songs, "Come Back Home" and "I Am The Best" when she graced the stage of the UAAP Season 81 Opening Ceremony! You guys, our Blackjack hearts were bursting during that time.
