Kim Soo Hyun fans, the wait is over—One Ordinary Day will premiere on Viu this coming November 27!

The much-awaited K-drama is a remake of the BBC series, The Criminal Justice. Soo Hyun will lead this crime thriller as college student Kim Hyun Soo, who became a suspect in the horrendous murder of a woman he had spent the night with. He will be joined by veteran actor Cha Seung Won and D.P. actress Lee Seol.

One Ordinary Day is directed by The Fiery Priest's Lee Myung Woo, who said in an interview that the drama will show the different sides of Soo Hyun and Seung Won. Additionally, he describes the series as "a story about the criminal justice system," where the audience will be able to empathize with the lead character.

Criminal Justice is an award-winning British TV series that premiered in 2008, starring Ben Whishaw. BBC describes it as a "Thriller by Peter Moffat about the challenges and politics of the criminal justice system seen through the eyes of the accused." Interesting.

The upcoming Korean remake will be led by director Lee Myung Woo, who also oversaw Backstreet RookiePunch, and The Fiery Priest. It will be penned by The Royal Gambler writer, Kwon Soon Kyu. Based on reports, That Night will start filming in the first half of 2021, and will air in the second half of the year.

Earlier, Soo Hyun's label, Gold Medalist, announced that he turned down the casting offer for the Netflix thriller Finger, where he was in talks to take on the character of an interior-designer-slash-sociopath.

The actor's latest project is the well-loved Netflix series It's Okay To Not Be Okay, where he transformed into Moon Gang Tae, a caregiver at a psychiatric hospital. Before that, he made a special appearance in the top-rating dramas Crash Landing On You and Hotel Del Luna
