To show how much they love a certain story, they would usually recommend it via their social media accounts (like BTS' V who shared his thoughts on the tearjerker, Navillera). Recently, we discovered one celeb who posted about a certain webtoon two years ago that seriously gave us goosebumps: Nevertheless star Han So Hee!
ICYDK, the *steamy* K-drama that's been giving us butterflies is actually based on the webtoon of the same name. JeongSeo served as its writer and artist. You can read the webtoon version of Nevertheless right here.
In 2019, Han So Hee uploaded a photo of the webtoon on her Instagram account and captioned it with the comic's title.
In 2020, So Hee, along with Song Kang, received a casting offer for the drama version of Nevertheless. She was offered to play the lead role of Yoo Na Bi. Come 2021, she accepted the role. Just imagine being a fan of a webtoon and then leading the drama adaptation two years after—it probably felt soooo surreal for So Hee!
Our girl expressed more of her ~*feelings*~ about this in a video by The Swoon. She said that it feels "very good" to star in the series and when she met the webtoonist, So Hee asked for her autograph and took a picture with her. Awww!
