When I was in college, one of the events I somehow always looked forward to was the annual career fair. As much as it was scary to think about what life would be like after graduation (hello, adulting), it was also kinda exciting. What does the "real world" have to offer? What kind of opportunities are out there? You know it's serious stuff when your titas at family reunions would ask you, "So what are your plans na after grad?" Of course there's that pressure when you hear it as a 20-year-old college student. Ang sarap sabihin, "Sandali lang, I don't even have plans for next week, paano pa kaya yung future? LOL." But I gotta admit, at the time it would always give me mixed feelings of curiosity and eagerness to figure out my so-called ~next steps~.
And that's why fast forward to five years later, I'm here to share that from experience, attending career fairs can be such a big help. I feel like wherever you are in your career path (whether you're a fresh grad, you're looking to change jobs, you've been laid off, or you're just looking for better opportunities, in general) career fairs are great for presenting you with things that you need: options. So if you're interested in attending one, JobStreet is actually hosting a career fair online. Keep reading to know more.
