You just have to do it!

We understand that there are times when you're just too tamad to wash your face. When you've had a long day, you just want to plop on your bed and sleep. But, we're here to remind you that you *must* make an effort to walk to the bathroom and cleanse your skin. Here's why:

What happens to your skin when you sleep without washing your face?

Failing to wash your face can cause serious harm to your skin. You're letting the dirt, makeup, dead skin, and oil linger on your pores for hours—can you imagine how nasty that mix is? G-R-O-S-S. Plus, the skin repairs itself at night so you're disrupting this process when you sleep with a dirty face.

TL;DR: Always remove your makeup and wash your face before going to sleep. Skipping these steps will damage your skin.

BTW, what is double-cleansing?

For those who are not familiar with double-cleansing, here's a short and sweet explanation: It's when you first use an oil-based cleanser to take off sebum and makeup, and then you follow it up with a foaming facial wash to get rid of everything. Any skin type will benefit from this method.

This time frame assures that the facial cleanser has washed away the dirt and oil your skin has accumulated throughout the day. Aestheticians, on the other hand, are fans of the 60-second rule. Choose whichever technique works for you.
