The 2018 drama What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? (WWWSK?) is based on a webtoon of the same name, and is far from your usual Cinderella story. The simple yet fascinating plot centers around a narcissistic vice chairman and his hardworking secretary (who has plans of resigning), and how they developed into something more than their work relationship. This K-drama is sure to leave you in fits of giggles from time to time, aside from squealing because of too much kilig. Pinoys totally love this drama, especially since it was broadcasted on a local TV station, too.
Recently, a certain *steamy* kissing scene from WWWSK? skyrocketed with more than 240 million YouTube views as of writing. And that’s two years after the show aired! We just can’t deny—Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young’s chemistry is really something else.

If you’re curious what the cast of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim? is up to now, here’s an update that will leave you reminiscing:
1. Park Seo Joon

Everyone’s favorite oppa (and your choice for best K-drama kisser, FYI) has a string of K-dramas under his belt, with Netflix’s Itaewon Class being his most recent one (we can’t get enough of his character, Park Saeroyi, and his chestnut haircut!). Currently, Park Seo Joon is filming his movie Dream with K-Pop superstar IU, and will also lead in the upcoming thriller film, Concrete Utopia, with Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’s Park Bo Young.
As one of the most sought-after actors of today, he also appeared in Summer Vacation, a reality show he starred in with BFF and fellow Wooga Squad member, Choi Woo Shik (who’s also a cutie!). You can watch it on Viu!

2. Park Min Young

K-drama favorite Park Min Young channeled a fangirl in her 2019 rom-com drama, Her Private Life, starring Coffee Prince’s Kim Jae Wook (who’s also her boss in the series), Itaewon Class’ Ahn Bo Hyun, and Sky Castle’s Kim Bo Ra. This year, she showed us more of her acting prowess in I’ll Go to You When The Weather Is Nice, where she co-starred with Seo Kang Joon.

Min Young is currently taking a break after her last drama wrapped up, and is busy with her YouTube channel, where she shows her hobbies, love for crunchy pepper kimchi, and basically her daily life outside the spotlight (which we love binge-watching!). Here’s a bubbly Min Young singing along to Red Velvet’s “Psycho” BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That”, and BTS’ “Spring Day”.
3. Kang Ki Young

Kang Ki Young has also been filming a lot of dramas and movies following the success of WWWSK?! He played the role of Woo Yeon in the romantic film, On Your Wedding Day with Park Bo Young; starred in MBC’s 2018 Drama of the Year, Terius Behind Me with So Ji Sub and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun; transformed into a teacher in the K-drama Moments of 18 alongside former Wanna One member and now solo artist, Ong Seong Wu; was part of the cast of E.X.I.T with Jo Jung Suk and Yoona; and appeared in the film The Most Ordinary Love with Gong Hyo Jin. Phew, what a busy actor!
Last year, Ki Young tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend in a private wedding ceremony. He tells in a radio broadcasting show how much he adores his wife (a.k.a his first love), whom he said was even funnier than her. Awwww!
4. Lee Tae Hwan

In 2019, Lee Tae Hwan led the second season of the drama Farming Academy with Apink’s Yoon Bomi, and showcased his promising skills as an actor. This was followed by a rom-com K-drama entitled Touch in early 2020. In the same year, he also transferred agencies with fellow members of the acting group, 5urprise, which includes Seo Kang Joon.
Right now, Tae Hwan is part of the JTBC series Graceful Friends, and is confirmed to star in the upcoming historical drama Secret Royal Inspector.
5. 2PM's Chansung
The member of the second-generation K-Pop boy group, 2PM, who also played the role of Mr. Kwo Kwi Nam in WWWSK?, is currently serving in the army and will be discharged on January 5, 2021. Chansung went out with his fellow 2PM member, Jun.K in June in his military uniform.
6. Hwang Bo Ra

If you think you’ve seen this actress in another drama, you’re probably right. Hwang Bo Ra made a cameo in the Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na-lead K-drama, Touch Your Heart. She also joined the cast of Hyena, which was nominated as the Best Drama in the 56th Baeksang Art Awards. This year, she’s slated in the new thriller comedy, Zombie Detective. Meanwhile, here’s Bo Ra with her furry friend, Ddaengchil.
7. Pyo Ye Jin

Pyo Ye Jin, who played Jin Ah in WWWSK?, was cast in the K-drama VIP that revolved around a team of department store employees that manages VIP clients and their well-kept secrets. The actress was also confirmed to be dating actor Hyun Woo in 2019, but called it quits in the same year.
