When a Korean superstar endorses a brand, chances are, their loyal fans wouldn't even think twice about purchasing items from that label. This is why a lot of companies get high-profile personalities as their ambassadors—it's a no-fail technique in raising awareness about their brand, especially when an actor or actress fits their brand identity perfectly. Here, check out some of your favorite K-drama celebrities and the luxury brands they endorse:
1. Hyun Bin for Omega
The premiere watchmaker Omega just welcomed the Crash Landing On You leading man as their newest brand ambassador! Hyun Bin joins the list of global A-listers that endorse the brand including: Daniel Craig, Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, and Eddie Redmayne. And did we mention that he's the first Korean endorser of Omega?
2. Song Hye Kyo for Chaumet
Who can forget Song Hye Kyo's iconic photos as Chaumet's muse? The jewelry brand's equally-iconic Bee My Love collection looks like it was made for her! On the brand's website, Chaumet described their comparison to the actress: "The playful essence of Bee My Love comes to life through Song Hye Kyo’s vibrant and cheerful spirit who shines in the solar and deliberately modern jewels of the collection."
3. IU for Gucci
If you follow IU on Instagram, you will see a number of posts dedicated to the Italian fashion label Gucci, who would often send her gifts, as she's the brand's ambassador in Korea, along with EXO's Kai. In fact, we've listed some of her most gorgeous designer bags (and how much they cost) and most of them are from the luxury brand! Excuse me, #GucciGirl coming through.
4. Nam Joo Hyuk for Dior
Nam Joo Hyuk is undeniably a complete head-turner in all his Dior campaigns, and we bet you will agree. We mean, his charisma when he strikes all those poses is too much to handle! His youthful appeal just comes with sophistication. Take a look at this for your reference. You're welcome.
5. Shin Min Ah for Cartier
Shin Min Ah has been the long-time face of Cartier, and it's honestly a match made in heaven. Do you know why? The goddess' timeless beauty is beyond what words can express, and the luxury French jewelry brand is just as exquisite. What a perfect pair!
6. Park Seo Joon for Montblanc
There are a *lot* of reasons why Park Seo Joon is the perfect endorser of Montblanc. One would be his versatility in his field, similar to how the German luxury brand manufactures a wide range of items from leather wallets to fountain pens! We mean, it still amazes us how the lead in Itaewon Class is the same silly guy from Fight For My Way...

7. Bae Suzy for Lancome
A lot of Bae Suzy x Lancome content (like the red lipstick she wore in the Netflix series Start-Up) are all over the internet and we're not complaining! What we love about this partnerships is that she transforms her influence into something good: When Suzy released a beauty book under the cosmetic brand, all the proceeds went to low-income women in South Korea for their sanitary needs. A true queen!
8. Gong Hyo Jin for Piaget
We went gaga when the award-winning actress Gong Hyo Jin was announced as Piaget's brand ambassador because her elegance and talent just complement the jewelry brand's spirit. She once mentioned that she admires Piaget's dedication to their products, and we totally feel the same with all her projects. That Baeksang award? Well-deserved!
9. GOT7's Jin Young for Tom Ford Beauty
Park Jin Young—or Jin Young for short—is a multi-talented celebrity. He's a member of the K-pop boy group GOT7 as well as an amazing K-drama actor. Early in 2020, he was named as the new face of Tom Ford Beauty, and in February, stocks of Tom Ford's Rose Prick perfume flew off the shelves after his promotional film for the brand was released. Now that's power!
10. Ji Chang Wook for Calvin Klein
In January 2020, the Backstreet Rookie star was revealed to be the first Korean actor to be a global ambassador for Calvin Klein. The brand shared that they believe that Ji Chang Wook fits their "young and modern" image. We mean, we totally agree by just looking at these photos!
11. Jun Ji Hyun for Alexander McQueen
Style icon and all-around kween Jun Ji Hyun was named the ambassador for the brand in South Korea in June 2020. We can't stop obsessing over that bag!
12. Lee Jong Suk
Fresh from his military discharge, Lee Jong Suk recently graced the cover of Esquire Korea wearing Prada! We were *shookedt* by the vibes he gave with that long hair look but WE ARE HERE FOR IT.
