Did you know that Kim Hye Yoon began taking on roles in films and dramas since she was eight? A lot of us were first introduced to her when she starred as ambitious Kang Ye Seo in the hit series Sky Castle. On his "bad guy" squad are genius psychopath serial killer Lee Jung Moon (Park Hae Jin), mob boss Park Woong Cheol (Ma Dong Seok), and hired hitman Jung Tae Soo (Jo Dong Hyuk). 2. SKY Castle (2018)
   

   This hit drama revolves around the lives, ambitions, and greed of four wealthy families nestled in the SKY Castle community. It shines the spotlight on the perceived reality that a top university education is THE only ticket to a well-paved life and how some parents chase it for their children regardless of the cost. You’ll definitely notice Kim Hye Yoon’s acting chops shine in her role as Ye Seo, eldest daughter of the Kang Family’s Joon Sang (Jung Hun Ho) and Seo Jin (Yum Jung Ah).

2. Secret Royal Inspector & Joy (2021)

3. Snowdrop (2021)
   

   From the team behind SKY Castle, Snowdrop is an emotional romantic spy action drama set against Seoul’s 1987 political scene. It tells the story of Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In), a mysterious Korean-German economics student who bursts into the women’s dorm of Hosu Women’s University wounded and on the run, and Eun Young Ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), a bubbly English major freshman who takes him in and falls for him at first sight. Young Ro and her friends help hide Su Ho, thinking he is a protestor (not knowing he is actually a North Korean spy!). Adding to the co-ed crew are Kang Chung Ya (Yoo In Na), a university student who has her eyes set on Su Ho; Lee Kang Moo (Jang Seung Jo), a member of an anti-communist government agency out to avenge the death of his friend; and Gye Bun Ok (Kim Hye Yoon), a telephone operator who missed out on college due to financial issues.

1. The Girl On A Bulldozer (to be released late 2022)
   

   The Girl On A Bulldozer debuted last year at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). Though we will have to wait a while (the film's general release is slated for late this year), we’re super excited to see Kim Hye Yoon shine as she takes on a character with true grit. In it, she stars as Goo Hae Young, an angry teenager who is a magnet for trouble. She lives with her father (Park Hyuk Kwon), a chef whose Chinese restaurant is swimming in debt, and her little brother. When her father gets into a mysterious road accident and is declared brain-dead, she is forced to step up—not only to care for her family but to solve the mystery behind her father’s demise.
