Park Shin Hye's dramas are always full of heart. The Hallyu star made her acting debut in the 2003 Koreanovela Stairway To Heaven, where she played the younger version of the female lead, Choi Ji Won. Since then, she's taken on pivotal roles in many, many films and K-dramas, and transformed into different charactersfrom a cross-dressing rock star to a neurosurgeon who has a crush on her high school teacher.

Stairway To Heaven (2003)

This tear-jerker circles around the relationships formed in a stepfamily of five. It's filled with classic tropes like the presence of an evil stepmother, and a mischievous stepsister who make life hard for its heroine. Shin Hye gained viewer praise for her acting chops as the younger version of the female character, Han Jung Suh (Ji Won from the classic drama Winter Sonata).

Tree Of Heaven (2006)

This third installment of director Lee Jang Soo's Heaven Trilogy features Shin Hye in her first leading role as Hana, a cheerful and idealistic teenager who falls for her stepbrother, Yoon Seo (played by actor Lee Wan).

Goong S (2007)

Also called Prince Hours, Goong S is the spinoff of the hit Koreanovela Princess Hours. Here, you'll see Shin Hye in a whole new light as the female antagonist bent on securing her spot as an empress while trying hard to win the heart of a prince.
