It's officially the last week of our current favorite webtoon-based drama, True Beauty, and we know you're not yet ready to watch the final episode just like us! The series gave us all the kilig and tawa we needed for more than two months, and the sepanx is going to be real, you guys. :( But that doesn't mean we can't rewatch it on Viu, listen to Yuju's "I'm In The Mood For Dancing" every day, or visit the places that were featured in the K-drama once we get to hop on a plane safely again!
For your *future* trip to South Korea, here's a list of must-visit locations featured in the K-drama True Beauty:
1. Yonsei University
What appeared as Saebom High School's facade is actually Yonsei University IRL! This school of one of the three most prestigious universities in SoKor, and is the alma mater of Parasite director Bong Joon Ho, and JYP Entertainment founder and K-pop star, Park Jin Young. Yonsei University is a fave filming spot for K-dramas, you might recall it from dramas like Extraordinary You, Romance Is A Bonus Book, and Reply 1994.
Location: 50 Yonsei-ro Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, 03722, South Korea
2. Seolri Skywalk
Remember Ju Kyung (Moon Ga Young) and Suho (Cha Eun Woo)'s first *official* date as a couple? They went out of the city, and the place where our girl was seen having the time of her life on a swing is called the Seolri Skywalk. The destination just recently opened in Namhae, and you guys, the view from the swing is stunning! Here's to hoping that we'll all have a Suho who will push us in the swing when we get there.
Location: San352-4, Songjeong-ri, Mijo-myeon, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
3. Y & ANIMA
The comic shop where Ju Kyung and Suho would often meet (and eat ramyeon together ofc!) actually houses leather goods! According to their official website, Y & ANIMA is a "leather bag brand that conveys your heart with your fingertips."
Location: 01849, 27 Dongil-ro 174-gil, Nowon-gu, Seoul, South Korea
4. NIN
Ju Kyung's eomma owns a *beauty shop* where anyone can get anything done, like how Ju Kyung's homeroom teacher (aka Hee Kyung eonnie's ~*grapefruit*~) had his eyebrows fixed! That exact store is NIN, or Natural in Nature, a leather craft shop that was established in 2010.
Location: 122-1 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
5. COMCOM Entertainment Room
Back when Ju Kyung, Soo Ah (Kang Min Ah), and Su Jin (Park Yoo Na) were still BFFs, the trio hung out in an arcade shop, which was shot at the Ikseondong branch of COMCOM Entertainment Room! Here, you can have fun with your chingus in a game room that mixes the old and the new.
6. Dragon Hill Spa & Resort
We can't help but laugh every time we remember how Ju Kyung pretended to be asleep inside a sauna in a jimjilbang (Korean bathhouse) because Seojun (Hwang In Yeop) and Chorong (Lee Woo Je) suddenly walked into the same room! LOL. Dragon Hill & Spa Resort is also a popular filming location not just for K-dramas, but also for Korean variety shows.
Location: 40-712, Hangangno 3-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
