The best part about most Korean dramas is how they let you escape from reality for a while through a string of kilig scenes because they are just so damn romantic. We bet you can't make it to the end of the list without feeling your heart flutter!

1. When Jung Joon Hyung finally confessed to Kim Bok Joo (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo )

Let's start with a cutesy coming-of-age drama: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (2017). It starred reel-to-real couple (who have since broken up) Lee Sung Kyung as Bok Joo and Nam Joo Hyuk as Joon Hyung. It took 11 episodes to get here, but in this scene, Joon Hyung proves that when it comes to confessions, actions speak louder than words.

2. When Kim Jin Hyuk declared his feelings for Cha Soo Hyun in public (Encounter)

Naturally, we already assumed that Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum) and Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo) will end up together in Encounter (2019). But they struggled with public perception and vicious in-laws. Although we were just waiting for it to happen, it still caught us off guard and pleasantly surprised when Jin Hyuk declared their special relationship the way he did in this clip. (The cherry on top was Bo Gum's pure and sweet smile.)

3. When Seo Joon Hee and Yoon Jin Ah snuck around (Something In The Rain)

In terms of romance, there was no slower burn than Something In The Rain (2018). Watching Yoon Jin Ah (Son Ye Jin) and Seo Joon Hee (Jung Hae In) was like remembering all those those times you made landi at the early stages of a relationship. Since they had to hide their relationship from their families, there was one time when Joon Hee just couldn't control himself that they almost got caught. LOL!

4. When An Min Hyuk flirted with Do Bong Soon (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon)

Park Bo Young starred as Do Bong Soon and Park Hyung Sik as An Min Hyuk in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017). After the series, there were articles about the two actors "revealing their true feelings" for each other. Who knows if it's true or just a PR stunt? But if you watch their scenes like this, you'll wonder if they were indeed feeling kilig while filming.

5. When Oh Yeon Joo and Kang Chul kissed in prison (W: Two Worlds)

W: Two Worlds (2016) toyed with your mind a lot and it took your heart on a crazy ride, too. It's all thanks to Han Hyo Joo's portrayal of the naive Oh Yeon Joo and Lee Jong Suk's role as the attractive Kang Chul. Here's one of the most passionate on-screen Hallyu kisses that earned Han-Lee (or the "Honey" Couple) the Best Couple recognition at the 2016 MBC Awards.

6. When Lee Young Joon took Kim Mi So home (What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?)

Vice Chairman Lee Young Joon (Park Seo Joon) of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim? (2018) had such an irresistible ~*aura*~! From his handsome face to his sex appeal, he's a man you couldn't help but fall for. In this scene, he laid Kim Mi So (Park Min Young) on his couch and said he didn't want to waste the night in what would be one of the most bitin cliffhangers in recent history! Time stopped, and so did our hearts.

7. When Kim Shin claimed he was Ji Eun Tak's boyfriend (Goblin)

Goblin (2017) gifted us with several kilig moments. Gong Yoo's close-ups alone are enough to make you swoon. One scene you'll enjoy watching over and over again was when Kim Shin made Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) realize that, "Your boyfriend is right here!"

8. When Grim Reaper kept telling Sunny he liked her (Goblin)

The second lead couple of Goblin made sure you didn't run out of things to smile about, too. Lee Dong Wook's character was awkward and had zero experience in dating. But he had a natural talent of saying the sweetest things. Here's a crowd favorite when Grim Reaper (calling himself Kim Woo Bin at the time) finally had a date with Sunny (Yoo In Na) after repeatedly dodging her calls.

9. When Ko Dong Man kissed Choi Ae Ra (Fight For My Way)

TBH, there were way too many Fight For My Way (2017) scenes that could have made this list. We definitely couldn't stop squealing when Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) kissed Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) and said "Let's date." GRABE LANG!

10. When Yoo Si Jin showed Kang Mo Yeon the best way to drink wine (Descendants Of The Sun)

The couple's encounter in the barracks' kitchen of Descendants Of The Sun (2016) was, hands down, one of the most memorable kilig-filled scenes in recent K-drama history. Song Joong Ki, playing Captain Yoo Si Jin, took our breaths away when he kissed Song Hye Kyo, playing Dr. Kang Mo Yeon. Although the scene ended with one of them chickening out of the ~*passionate*~ scene, it's one of the moments that got so many women hooked on DOTS and its stunning leads.

11. That epic Coffee Prince kissing scene!

Unlike the other Korean dramas, this one's an OG rom-com that first aired in 2007. But since a lot of fans are still streaming it online today (and TBH, it's quite difficult to get over), it deserves a special spot on this list. Again, there were several scenes that qualify for this list, but one that stood out most was when Choi Han Gyul (Gong Yoo) couldn't hold back anymore and kissed Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) without caring if he was a man or an alien. So. Epic.

12. When Lee Ik Jun ~lowkey~ confessed his feelings to Chae Song Hwa in Hospital Playlist

I mean, Ik Jun (Jo Jung Suk) played it so cool that our world also stopped for a few minutes when Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) realized what he said! What we love about this tandem aside from being friends at first is that everything relaxed and easygoing but once they start gazing at each other's eyes, we can't help but do a *little* internal screaming because there's the tension!

13. When Han Ji Pyeong mixed Seo Dal Mi's bowl of noodles in Start-Up

This might seem like a small gesture but guys—it's the small things that matter! Spoiler alert: Dal Mi (Bae Suzy) did not end up with Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho) but they shared a number of moments that made us all weak in the knees. Like this one scene when our #GoodBoy appeared out of nowhere, ordered a bowl of bibimguksu, set the table for him and Dal Mi, and casually revealed how he feels to her. Sometimes, I really want to become a K-drama character.

14. When Moon Gang Tae gave flowers to Ko Mun Yeong and kissed her in It's Okay To Not Be Okay

Correction: It's a peck on the lips but it's the best peck we have ever seen! And Gang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) was so thoughtful to even bring Mun Yeong (Seo Ye Ji) flowers (which we believe he picked somewhere in the fields) before making a move. And did you see how the sun was so bright as if it's saying that everything's going to be alright in Mun Yeong's life because Gang Tae is always beside her? A guy like him, please!

15. When Lee Suho hugged Im Ju Kyung in True Beauty

Before the kilig, we were rolling on the floor laughing because Suho (Cha Eun Woo) gave in to his feelings and hugged Ju Kyung (Moon Ga Young) tight, realized what he did, and pretended that he wants her to smell the fab con he used on his jacket! Weeks after and we are still laughing, LOL. Hindi mo kami maloloko, Suho—we know you like our girl so much!

16. Basically every Yoon Se Ri and Ri Jeong Hyeok in Crash Landing On You.

What made this drama such a hit is honestly the abudance of kilig, especially when Se Ri And Captain Ri are on screen! If we were to pick our top CLOY  kilig scene though, it would have to be when Se Ri spotted Captain Ri in a crowd in South Korea after they were separated. We swear, tumigil din mundo namin. Also, our kilig just multiplied because Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are dating IRL!
