7. Scarlet Innocence (2014)

The plot: University professor Shim Hak Hyu (Jung Woo Sung) moved to a rural town after being involved in a scandal. In his new place, he fell in love with a woman named Deok Yi who's 17 years his junior. A lot of other misfortunes happened during their love affair (including Hak Kyu bribing Deok Yi and leaving her) and after eight years, Hak Kyu slowly loses his vision. In revenge, Deok Yi changes her identity and plans to make him suffer for the rest of his life.

8. The Call (2020)

The plot: The Call tells the story of two women who live in the same house and they're able to communicate with each other by telephone. But the sitch is they're 20 years apart, with Kim Seo Yeon (Park Shin Hye) living in 2019 and Oh Young Sook (Jeon Jong Seo) in 1999. And did we mention that one of them is a serial killer? The Call is all things violent and gore, and the ending turns darker and darker before the end credits are shown.
